Star Wars: The Phantom Menace - 1950s Super Panavision 70
Directed by Abandoned Films • Year: 2024 • Runtime: 01:25 • Score: ★ 9.3/10
Synopsis
What if George Lucas's 1999 prequel was produced in 1954 on 70mm Panavision? Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Queen Amidala, and Darth Maul appear as Golden Age Hollywood icons clad in velvet, heavy makeup, and practical cardboard starships.
The prequel saga transformed into a lavish mid-century Hollywood biblical epic with matte painted palaces and analog prosthetics.
